In the Battle of Wu Zhang Plains on the hard difficulty setting with the Shu force, find a place where an intermission sequence starts and you see shooting stars. Note: This may take awhile, and may happen when Zhang Fei dies. A special item message should appear for the Survival Guide. This item will have your character's Attack x2 for thirty seconds when near death.
