How To: Easy health, experience, and money in Knothole Glade
You can get an unlimited amount of extra health no matter what abilities your character is pursuing if you open the Demon Door while doing the White Balverine mission. You can also make good amounts of money and experience. Kill the four regular Balverines to gain access to Knothole Glade, then defeat the White Balverine three times and get the Silver augmentation. While leaving town in pursuit of the White Balverine, shoot the Demon Door with an Ebony longbow (or better) to open it. You will then have all the experience so far, a Silver augmentation, and an Elixir of Life. If you want more experience, chase the White Balverine and kill it. It will howl three times, summoning regular Balverines to its side before you are able to kill it. Kill all of the Balverines, even the white one if desired. You must bring its head to the mayor before the mission is ends. Once you are ready, Hero Save on a second slot, or, if you saved immediately before the mission began, save on that slot. Immediately load that file and you will be standing outside Knothole Glade just before the mission starts, with a lot of experience, a Silver Augmentation you can sell, and an Elixir of Life. Walk through the doorway to start the White Balverine mission and repeat the process. As long as you do not end the mission you will get the option to save your character's stats, but not game progress. You can keep all the extra items and experience that you have acquired. If you are having trouble fulfilling a boast, this works on any story mission. Just keep Hero Saving and gaining experience, then learn new skills, improve your abilities, or whatever else required to pass your boast.
